Sierra Leone’s national football team, the Leone Stars, has dropped to 122nd position in the latest FIFA Men’s World Rankings released on 20 July 2026.
According to FIFA’s updated rankings, Sierra Leone now has 1,147.56 points, placing the country just behind Namibia, which occupies 121st place with 1,148.84 points, and North Korea, ranked 120th with 1,151.05 points.
The teams immediately below Sierra Leone in the rankings are the Faroe Islands, ranked 123rd with 1,136.59 points, and Cyprus, which sits in 124th position with 1,133.25 points.
